Wii component cables

To anyone that is buying a Wii, and their TV set has a component input, then be sure to buy a Wii component cable.

They were said to be available online through the Nintendo online store and other online retailers, but only on the 19th which is the Wii launch day. Third-party cables will also be available on launch day and at your local store, not just online.

It was said that the Nintendo cable would be available on launch day, however it would be in very little quantities and that more would be available later on, like in December, now isn't that quite too late?!

However some chump at GoNintendo has found the Nintendo Wii component cable on the Nintendo online store.

So get those cables if you want to have the best possible image being displayed on your TV from the Wii, if your TV has a component input, if you don't you can still use the composite cables bundled with the console.

Many thanks to JonLeung and his tip on this valuable piece of news.

I actually just got the CRT HD that I was looking for, and Pro from the forums advised that I should get the Blaze ones. On eBay you can get them for really cheap so I'm looking into that.

Oh I got Nintendo's official component cables a week or two after the Wii was released, I use them on my 50" DLP RPTV.

Sheesh, it's been a long time since I've blogged, if only I could get my lazy ass to do something more...
