Wii component cables

To anyone that is buying a Wii, and their TV set has a component input, then be sure to buy a Wii component cable.

They were said to be available online through the Nintendo online store and other online retailers, but only on the 19th which is the Wii launch day. Third-party cables will also be available on launch day and at your local store, not just online.

It was said that the Nintendo cable would be available on launch day, however it would be in very little quantities and that more would be available later on, like in December, now isn't that quite too late?!

However some chump at GoNintendo has found the Nintendo Wii component cable on the Nintendo online store.

So get those cables if you want to have the best possible image being displayed on your TV from the Wii, if your TV has a component input, if you don't you can still use the composite cables bundled with the console.

Many thanks to JonLeung and his tip on this valuable piece of news.

My Wii Experience

So, as I've mentioned before I got the chance to go to a Nintendo public event at the Atlantis pavillions at Ontario Place, and so today I did go.

There, I saw and said Hi to both Tony and Ryan from vgmfusion.com, I also recognized that one guy from Electric Playground (not Tommy Tallarico), and was Kris Abel from Canada AM there because I think I saw him too...when I got home I was like "I should have asked them (Tony and Ryan) their autographs on the VIP pass, darn!".

The PS3 taken apart and its visceral organs are shown

I never expected to see so soon such an autopsy on the PS3, luckily I was reading at GoNintendo a blog post on some guy from another blog, Destructoid, and then decided to check the rest of that blog and I noticed this little interesting post.

So apparently this Japanese website has photos of their PS3 autopsy, I can't read any Japanese but I think those photos show us more than enough.

Oh my, what a huge fan you have.

I'm one freaking super lucky bastard

I'm one freaking super lucky bastard, because I just won a VIP pass to the November 14th Nintendo of Canada Ltd event held in Toronto at the Atlantis pavillions on Ontario place.

You too can also get one. How? VGM Daily got 10 or so VIP passes directly from NoC Ltd, so basically they are handing them out, but in order to win...read the rules.

In their latest episode, episode #153, you can listen to the first 3 VIP passes given out. In episode #152 you can listen to how specifically this daily contest is going to be.

Edit: I forgot to mention that my submission on #153 was the question about Metroid, ain't I one freaking super lucky bastard. My thanks to Tony, Ryan, and Nintendo.

Wii Invitation, Wii Play Tour - Canada

Nintendo of Canada Ltd has two upcoming Wii related events, one is the Wii Invitation event where you could be one of the few lucky people that can participate and have the chance of winning a Wii, and then there's the Wii Play Tour which is focused on the general public.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Wii Invitation event, booyah!
